About the workshop
One shop, two generations,
the same cutting table.
ابا جی نے ۱۹۹۴ میں دکان کھولی — قینچی آج بھی وہی ہے۔
1994 — today
How we got here
Muhammad Sartaj opened a single-machine shop in Anarkali in 1994, stitching men's shalwar kameez for the shopkeepers around him. Everything since has been built on that table.
One machine, one master
Sartaj sahib opens the shop and stitches menswear for the shopkeepers around him.
A ladies master joins
Four machines on the floor and womenswear starts, with a separate fitting room.
Second generation cuts
His son Usman takes over cutting, adds a children's table, and starts a measurement register for every customer — so a repeat order never needs a second fitting.
First brand order
A Lahore label asks for fifty pieces of one design. That order became the production floor upstairs, which runs alongside the counter without slowing it down.
Seven tailors, same scissors
The shears on the wall are the ones Sartaj sahib bought in 1994, and they still get used on wedding orders.
House rules
Four things we don't bend on.
These are the promises the counter staff are allowed to make without asking Usman first.
The date is the date
If we accept an order we give a delivery date and hold it. If our floor can't take it, we say no at the counter instead of delaying you later.
Your fabric is your fabric
Leftover cloth comes back with the garment. Every time, without asking.
Rate before scissors
Full stitching charge quoted and written on the slip before cutting begins. No additions at delivery.
Our mistake, our cost
If the fault is in our stitching or measurement, we fix it free — or replace the fabric if it can't be fixed.
Who touches your garment
Seven people, clearly divided.
Usman Sartaj
Master cutter, menswear and bridal. Second generation, cutting since 2011.
Naseem Bibi
Ladies master. Bridal, saree blouse and fittings in the ladies room.
Rashid Ali
Children's table and all uniform orders, single or bulk.
Finishing team
Four hands on kaj, button, overlock and press. Nothing leaves unpressed.
Reasons customers stay
What a 31-year-old shop can do that a new one can't.
Your measurements kept
Reorder by phone from anywhere. We already know your file.
One shop, whole family
Father's suit, mother's kameez, children's uniforms — one visit, one bill.
Retail and bulk together
A production floor upstairs, so a brand order never eats your delivery date.
Ready when you are
Bring the fabric. We'll do the rest.
